Keto Dirty Diet Coke

A new trend popping up from America is the dirty diet trend, which is basically a caffeinated Italian soda. Italian sodas are usually a combination of fruit syrup and club soda. The dirty cokes contain caffeinated coke as the main ingredient flavoured with different syrups (lime juice, coconut syrup and cream).

Looking at this recipe makes it possible to make it keto-proof by not adding in sugary syrups but replacing this by healthy fatty coconut milk, which does influence the texture but after mixing it up quite well in a blender or shaking it, the texture tends to brighten up.

In my opinion it tastes nice but because the keto recipe uses coconut cream it makes the texture quite unpleasant. It is a perfect recipe on a hot summery day to drink something with tropical vibes, you can also add in some rum to spice things up!

The recipe:
– 1/2 diet coke
– 1,5 tbsp limejuice
– 1/2 cup coconut milk

Macro’s per serving:
– Net carbs: 2 grams
– Protein: 0,5 grams
– Fats: 4 grams
